Self-Sealing Kits
Our Self-Sealant product Cryo-Silane® used in Stationary refrigeration systems is utilized to find leaks in both small to very large systems. This product has demonstrated its ability to permanently seal leaks simply and economically. Our SSR 22 Kits process works by introducing active chemicals into the refrigeration system which will circulate inert and remain completely neutral toward system components. When the chemical leaves the systems with the leaking refrigerant, it reacts with oxygen and water (air and humidity) and polymerizes to form a solid, non-deteriorating, polysiloxane seal which PERMANENTELY repairs the leak.
Benefits
The ideal part of using Cryo-Silane® is that the leak DOES NOT need to be physically located in order to be repaired. Also, expensive components of the refrigeration system do not need to be replaced; thereby generating savings in both parts and labor. The overall cost of applying our SSR 22 Kits is generally less than ONE HALF that of component replacement and has been been proven 99% effective.

Evaporators are typically installed in very close spaces. This makes repairs or replacements time consuming, risky and difficult. Fitting leaks tend to be small and hard to find. Our Cryo-Silane® allows you to seal the leaks without pinpointing their location.
Analogy of Leaks
Our SSR R-22 kits are NOT a typical “stop leak” as is commonly used in some systems today. These “stop leaks” work by introducing solids or fibers into a system. As they leak out, these solids plug or dam the leak. Products of this type simply will not work in air conditioning systems since solids would plug the capillaries and orifice in the system. Instead Cryo-Silane® is introduced into the system as a liquid. It then circulates through the system with the refrigerant until it reaches the leak. As it leaves the system, it reacts with air and moisture to form a solid seal. Because of this, there is no way to restrict the system internally. The best analogy for how the product works is the human body. When you cut yourself, you bleed, or leak. Your blood is not a “stop leak”, yet it works as a SEALANT. Cryo-Silane® works exactly the same way, forming an epoxy SEAL over the leak site.
