Lost Your COOL?

Tune-Air® Is the Answer

Tune-Air® a unique product unto its own, and is used in mobile as well as refrigerated A/C systems as “PREVENTATIVE MAINTENCE”. It is another major development in the field of refrigeration chemistry. It converts moisture into a silicone oil and effectively reduces compressor head temperature, pressures and amperage draw. It also increases the amount of refrigerant being vaporized in the air handler or evaporator. RESULTS IN:
  • OUTPUT OF COLDER AIR

  • INCREASED EFFICIENCY

  • PROTECTION FROM ACIDS, CORROSION, & FREEZE-UPS

  • APPROXIMATELY 10% REDUCTION IN POWER DRAW

    • Tune-Air®

      For Colder Air….
      With Less Engine Draw

    • DECONTAMINATES THE SYSTEM

    • DECREASES ENGINE DRAW

    • INCREASES COOLING EFFICIENCY

    • PROLONGS EQUIPMENT LIFE

    • DEYHYDRATES THE SYSTEM

    • CONVERTS MOISTURE INTO SILICONE OIL

    • PROTECTS FROM ACID CORROSION, RUST AND FREEZE-UPS

    • ELIMINATES TRAPPED MOISTURE IN LUBRICATING OIL

    • BETTER HEAT TRANSFER

Why Tune-Air® Is the Solution

Many troubles in refrigeration systems may be traced to the presence of moisture in the system. Moisture, as it circulates through the system in the presence of oil and the refrigerant at high temperature (compressor and condenser) causes many complex actions. Moisture in the system may freeze at the refrigerant control orifice, eventually clogging it. Moisture in the system may cause a chemical breakdown between oil and the refrigerant which creates acids that “eat” insulation off motor windings and adversely affect the lubricating capabilities of the oil.

All service problems are either directly caused by or are traceable to moisture. If moisture is present in large enough quantities, it will form ice in capillary tubes and expansion valves, plugging them. A system which is clean, dry, acid free will run almost indefinitely without corrosion, freeze-ups or oil break down. A clean-dry, system remains factory bright and trouble free in operation. A normal system is completely a dry one. A wet system is a faulty system and must be regarded as a mechanical failure just as much as a faulty valve plate or connecting rod.

The best assurance to keep a system dry and trouble-free is to use Tune-Air® as your “Preventative Maintenance” tool. The customer/consumer receive the ultimate “state-of-the-art” in preventative maintenance. Once properly serviced with Tune-Air®, the air conditioning system will function efficiently, with a “built-in” SELF-SERVICING capability for eliminating moisture and inhibiting acid formation which prevents further corrosion and maintains a high level of production of SHARP COLD AIR!!

Tune-Air® is sold and used as a stand alone product for PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE. It may be purchased in one 4 oz. can or by the case. Each case of Tune-Air® contains 6 cans per case. Quantities are limited. Early purchase is recommended.

Tune-Air®
is also included in our SSR R-134a kit as the dehydrant.
